The China Patent Office has shared some official shots of the upcoming Haval F5 model. The compact SUV, which you can now look at without the obligatory disguise, will launch in 2021.

The current-gen Haval F5 came out in 2018, but the manufacturer decided to dispense with the facelifts and go straight for the next generation. Rumor has it that the model will switch to the new Lemon architecture and get a major exterior makeover, including an intricate radiator grille, new headlights and air intakes, no more black plastic details and no chrome on the front bumper.

The engine range will be represented by a single 1.5-liter gasoline turbo mill linked to a seven-speed DCT box and capable of 150 PS.
