The BMW M440d xDrive Coupe will arrive in March with a 3.0-liter M TwinPower Turbo six-cylinder diesel engine that produces 335 hp and 700 Nm of torque. It will be connected to an eight-speed automatic transmission which sends power to an all-wheel drive system. This will enable the model – which also comes equipped with the M Sport package and an M Sport differential – to accelerate from 0-100 km/h in 4.6 seconds.

If you don’t need to go that fast, you can save money by opting for the new 430d xDrive Coupe. Its 3.0-liter diesel engine produces a more modest 282 hp and 650 Nm of torque, but it isn’t much slower as the dash to 100 km/h takes 5.1 seconds.

Besides the diesel engines, the 4-Series lineup receives an expanded color palette and additional upholstery choices. Furthermore, the M440i and M440d coupes – as well as the M340i and M340d sedans – can be equipped with a newly optional M carbon fiber roof.
