If you’re a Bugatti customer, saying goodbye to 2020 means saying hello to your Chiron Pur Sport, as first deliveries for the special edition hypercar are officially underway. The first Chiron Pur Sport was recently delivered by Bugatti to a customer in the United States, featuring a Quartz White upper exterior with a Grey Carbon Pur Sport Split and an exposed Grey Carbon lower. It also features a Grey Carbon roof, rear wing, horseshoe and side mirrors, plus the optional Sky View, so that as much light as possible can make its way into the cabin.

The interior boasts ‘Italian Red’ leather mixed with loads of carbon fiber elements. Bugatti is only making 60 units of the Chiron Pur Sport and each is priced at 3 million euros (US$ 3.64 million), although we’d wager that this particular one might have even cost a bit more than that.

The Pur Sport is powered by a 8.0-liter W16 engine, good for 1,500 PS and 1,600 Nm of torque. Compared to the “normal” Chiron, the transmission has shorter ratios by 15%, which in turn aids acceleration: the Pur Sport can catapult from zero to 100 km/h in just 2.3 seconds, and in 5.5 seconds it’s already doing 200 km/h, while reaching 300 km/h takes under 12 seconds.

Bugatti also added grip-optimized tires and improved aerodynamics (among which a fixed rear wing) in order to boost downforce. The Chiron Pur Sport is assembled at Bugatti’s Atelier in Molsheim, France.
