The 2021 Dodge Charger has embraced its golden side, with the automaker making the Gold Rush paint finish available for select models. Originally introduced on the 2020 Challenger 50th Anniversary Limited Edition, and then expanded to the 2021 Challenger T/A, T/A 392, SRT Hellcat and SRT Hellcat Redeye, it joins other colors in the sedan’s palette. These include the Frostbite, Sinamon Stick, Hellraisin, F8 Green, TorRed and Go Mango.
Dodge’s Gold Rush exterior shade is
limited to specific 2021 Charger models, such as the Charger R/T, Scat Pack,
Scat Pack Widebody, SRT Hellcat and SRT Hellcat Redeye, when equipped with the
Satin Black hand-painted hood, roof and deck lid.
At the same time, it joins new gear
available for the 2021 car, such as the 20-inch wheels standard on the GT AWD
and optional on the SXT AWD, and high-performance brakes from Brembo for the
SRT Hellcat and SRT Hellcat Redeye, available with the Scat Pack. It also joins
the 797 HP and 959 Nm of torque SRT Hellcat Redeye, capable of
hitting a top speed of 327 km/h, which is marketed by Dodge as being
“the most powerful and fastest mass-produced sedan in the world”.
