Peugeot has introduced new Roadtrip edition versions of the facelifted 3008 and 5008 in Europe, which sport different exterior shades and extra equipment. Following hot on the heels of last year’s 308 Roadtrip, the 3008 Roadtrip can be ordered in Celebes Blue, Mother-of-Pearl White, Vertigo Blue and Ultimate Red, whereas the 5008 Roadtrip comes in Copper Brown, Ultimate Red and Mother-of-Pearl White.

They are adorned with special ‘Roadtrip’ edition logos on the front fenders, which are also displayed inside on the floor mats. The special edition variants of the two crossovers have stainless steel door sills, synthetic leather and Alcantara with contrast stitching, aluminum pedals and a generous amount of gear, such as the Allure Pack Equipment, Easy Package with parking assistant and 360-degree cameras, and Grip Control that improves traction.

Peugeot’s drowsiness warning, blind spot assist, lane departure warning with steering intervention and others are also included. The electric tailgate, smartphone wireless charging and trailer coupling are just some of the extras, while the 5008 Roadtrip is offered with a third row of seats as standard.

Besides the usual ICE family that meets Europe’s latest emission standard, the 2021 3008 Roadtrip can be ordered with one of two plug-in hybrid powertrains. The AWD Hybrid4 300 e-EAT8 combines a 200 PS PureTech engine with two electric motors that develop 110 PS and 112 PS respectively, for a combined system output of 300 PS. The 2WD Hybrid 225 e-EAT8 has a 180 PS PureTech petrol mill and a 110 PS electric motor, for a total output of 225 PS.
