Spy photographers have managed to catch the 2021 Peugeot 308 being loaded into the back of a truck. While this typically wouldn’t be too exciting, the car cover was partially removed and this gives us a detailed look at the upcoming hatchback. The model is certainly a looker as it features an upscale design. The front end is dominated by an all-new grille, which boasts radiating chrome accents and Peugeot’s new lion head logo.

Elsewhere, we can see a sportier front bumper with a trapezoidal intake. Designers also gave the hatchback slender headlights which flow into fang-like daytime running lights. Other notable features include a sculpted hood and “308” badging on the front end.

Continuing down the sides, the car has a pronounced shoulder line and an evolutionary greenhouse. We can also see front fender badging and sportier bodywork with a recessed accent that runs through the doors. The rear end is mostly covered, but we can spot a gloss black rear bumper and a stylish dual exhaust system. Above are slender taillights, but their design is hidden from view.

The Peugeot 308 is expected to debut shortly and should be offered with an assortment of different engines. While nothing is official, we can expect petrol and diesel options as well as hybrid and plug-in hybrid variants. One of the plug-in hybrids is expected to be a Peugeot Sport Engineered version, which could have around 296 hp.
