8-inch infotainment system with wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay.
Rounding out the highlights are remote keyless entry and a 4.2-inch

are a handful of driver assistance systems including Forward
Collision-Avoidance Assist with Pedestrian Detection, Lane Keeping Assist, Lane
Following Assist and Rear Occupant Alert.
Moving up the trim ladder is the US$ 26,500

privacy glass, roof rails and heated side mirrors with turn signal indicators.
The cabin becomes more welcoming thanks to heated front seats, an 8-way power
driver’s seat, and an upgraded 8-inch infotainment system with Blue Link and
SiriusXM. Other niceties include a dual-zone automatic climate control system,
a proximity key, additional USB charging ports and rear air vents.
Drivers will find a more comprehensive
suite of driver assistance systems including Smart Cruise Control with Stop
& Go, Safe Exit Warning and Blind-Spot Collision Avoidance Assist. The SEL
also boasts Rear Cross-Traffic Collision Avoidance Assist and an upgraded
Forward Collision-Avoidance Assist system with Pedestrian, Cyclist and Junction

Customers looking for more luxury can add

Premium package includes all the aforementioned equipment as well as leather seats
with heating and ventilation up front. Other extras include a Bose audio system
and a slightly revised exterior with dark chrome accents and premium LED

The Tucson N Line starts at US$ 30,600 and

The model ups the ante in terms of luxury
as buyers will find heated and ventilated leather front seats with eight-way
power adjustment on both sides. They’re joined by heated rear seats, a heated
leather steering wheel, voice recognition technology and a larger 10.25-inch
infotainment system with GPS navigation. The Tucson Limited comes with premium

All of the aforementioned models are
powered by a 2.5-liter four-cylinder engine that produces an estimated 187 hp and 241 Nm of torque. It’s connected to an
eight-speed automatic transmission, which can be paired to an optional
all-wheel drive system for an additional US$ 1,400. Buyers looking for something
more eco-friendly can opt for the Tucson Hybrid which starts at US$ 29,050 and
comes standard with all-wheel drive. It features a turbocharged 1.6-liter
four-cylinder engine, a 1.49 kWh lithium-ion battery pack, an electric motor
and a six-speed automatic gearbox.
This setup gives the crossover an
estimated combined output of 227 hp and 350 Nm of
torque. Besides being more powerful than standard model, the hybrid variant is
expected to be 30% more fuel efficient.
