This is the second teaser image of the all-new Amarok, expected in 2022, and it follows the rough sketch released by Volkswagen about year ago. Right off the bat, we can see that a few things have changed. Most notably, the mid-section of the front bumper and grille have a slightly cleaner design, and plastic cladding has appeared on the outer edges of the skid plate that otherwise still has a cutout in the middle for the winch.

Metal trim adorns the side skirts, the doors have real handles and the mirrors, with integrated turn signals, are wider, whereas further back, a bed bar has appeared, alongside what seems to be a black bed cover. A pair of LED lights was added to the roof, between the rails, and the wheels, wrapped in all-terrain tires, look more realistic. The illustration also provides a tiny glimpse inside, though nothing is visible beyond the headrests and a grab handle on the A-pillar.

Built around the T7 platform, alongside the new generation Ford Ranger as part of a partnership announced by the two companies nearly two years ago, the 2022 Amarok will look different than its North American sibling, as evidenced by the official sketches.
