Bentley‘s Continental GT Speed series is arguably one of their best cars, but the newest generation has had yet to received the special designation. That is, until now, as the new Continental GT Speed has been confirmed and will be launched on March 23 at 16:00 GMT.

Bentley is calling the car “The most capable, performance-focused Bentley yet – with no compromise to comfort or luxury.” It will have new advanced chassis technology as well as Speed-specific styling cues, and will be built in their new carbon neutral factory. The only other things they shared about the car were its silhouette and exhaust note, the latter of which you which you can listen to in the clip below.

That being said, if we know anything about previous Speed models in relation to their normal Continental counterparts, we can reasonably predict what this new one should be like. For reference, the previous Continental GT Speed had a 51 hp, 53 Nm torque, and roughly 16 km/h top speed advantage over the “normal” W12 version. The current W12 Continental has 626 hp and 900 Nm of torque, so this new Speed should only be an improvement over those already-impressive figures.

As for what the car will look like, expect it to be similar to the regular Continental GT, just with those aforementioned styling tweaks exclusive to the Speed. The car should realistically be retaining all of its interior quality as well, and in keeping with Speed tradition, will most likely feature a W12 engine. We won’t know the specifics until it makes its debut next Tuesday, so until then all we can do is wait and see.
