Jeep continues its 80th anniversary celebrations with the introduction of the Wrangler Unlimited Willys in Australia. A limited production run of 130 units, it pays tribute to the legendary Willys Overland CJ-3A, featuring exclusive updates inside and out.
Available in Sarge Green, Sting Grey,
Bright White or Black, the limited edition Wrangler has a glossy black front
grille, ‘Willys’ decals on each side of the hood, a ‘4 Wheel Drive’ decal on
the rear swing gate and 17-inch Moab black aluminum wheels with a five-spoke
design.
The interior sports a silver-platinum
instrument mid-panel and all-weather floor mats. The upgrades do not end here,
though, as the Wrangler Unlimited Willys is also equipped with an upgraded Dana
M220 rear axle and anti-spin rear differential.
Based on the Wrangler Night Eagle, the
Wrangler Unlimited Willys is powered by a 3.6-liter V6 rated at 284 PS which is paired to an eight-speed automatic transmission and
four-wheel drive. It is already available for order, starting at AU$ 61,941
(US$ 48,235), excluding all on-road costs and dealer delivery fees, and the
first units will arrive in showrooms next month.
