Mazda has expanded its MX-5 lineup with the introduction of the new Sport Venture edition that pays homage to the 2014 model. Just like its predecessor, it is offered in Deep Crystal Blue with silver detailing on the roll hoop covers and side mirror caps, complemented by a grey fabric roof, 16-inch bright alloy wheels and Light Stone Nappa leather interior.

The new MX-5 Sport Venture builds on the Sport Convertible grade, retaining its 132 PS 1.5-liter engine and the heated seats, DAB digital radio, auto-dimming rearview mirror, keyless entry, rain-sensing wipers and others. Only 160 units are destined for the United Kingdom, and pricing has been set at £ 27,615 (US$ 37,959).

 

Joining the MX-5 Sport Venture is the £ 27,705 (US$ 38,083) MX-5 R-Sport Convertible. It combines a Polymetal Grey Metallic paint finish with a grey soft top and 16-inch gunmetal alloy wheels, and features Burgundy Nappa leather seats with silver stitching inside. Power comes from the same 1.5-liter engine.

The MX-5 range comprises of 10 specs, including four Convertibles and six RF folding hardtop models, in the SE-L, Sport, Sport Tech and GT Sport Tech grades, with the 132 PS 1.5-liter and 184 PS 2.0-liter SkyActiv-G engines.
