The new colors of the 2022 Corvette Stingray have been revealed by Chevrolet. The three new colors, Amplify Orange Tintcoat, Hypersonic Gray Metallic, and Caffeine, were launched during the 2021 Michelin NCM Bash at the National Corvette Museum and unveiled by Bowling Green Assembly Plant manager Kai Spande. They replace Sebring Orange Tintcoat, Shadow Gray Metallic, and Zeus Bronze Metallic respectively.

None are dramatically different than the ones they replace. Of the three, it appears that Caffeine is differs the most as it appears to be a much darker shade of brown than Zeus Bronze Metallic.

This isn’t the first time Chevrolet has introduced new colors for the Corvette. In fact, when the car was slightly updated for the 2021 model year, Long Beach Red and Blade Silver were replaced by Red Mist and Silver Flare Metallic.

During the C8’s 2020 model year, Torch Red proved to be the most popular color, accounting for 25 per cent of all sales. It was followed by Arctic White at 15 per cent, Black at 12 per cent, Sebring Orange and Elkhart Lake Blue at 7 per cent, Rapid Blue, Ceramic Matrix, Blade Silver and Shadow Gray, at 6 per cent, Long Beach Red at 5 per cent, and Accelerate Yellow and Zeus Bronze at 3 per cent.
