The Bestune E01 shown in the video here was FAW Group’s first incursion into the E Series of battery-driven vehicles. The Bestune NAT – renamed from E05 – follows up as the second production model, but FAW will not sell it to anyone except taxi companies.

The car has LED lights all around and a sliding door at the right side. Its single electric motor churns out 136 PS, while the battery grants it up to 419 kilometers of range according to the admittedly outdated NEDC standard.

Inside, trays for miscellaneous items replace the traditional center console, and there is an orange ‘Accept Call’ button on the steering wheel. Other notable features include video surveillance, ultraviolet purification, and an SOS button.
