Ford has announced the official pricing details of the Mustang Mach-E built in China for the local market. Available in four trim levels, it is offered through the newly established BEV Division, which is dedicated to sales, manufacturing, research and development and user experience of the brand’s EVs.
The lineup kicks off from 265,000 RMB,
equaling to US$ 40,460 at current exchange rates, for the Standard Range Base RWD,
and continues with the 309,900 RMB (US$ 47,315) Extended Range Premium RWD. Range
is estimated at over 470 km and more than 600 km respectively, and the 0 to 100 km/h acceleration takes less than 7
seconds. The Extended Range Premium AWD is priced from 339,900 RMB (US$ 51,895),
has a driving range exceeding 540 km and can reach 100 km/h in less than 5 seconds.
Sitting at the top of the Mustang Mach-E
family in the People’s Republic is the GT First Edition. It comes in the
exclusive GT Grabber Blue paint finish and rides on 20-inch aluminum wheels.
The dual-motor set-up generates a combined output of 359 kW (488 PS)
for a 0 to 100 km/h of around 3 seconds. It can travel for over 480
km on a single charge and is available from 379,900 RMB (US$ 58,002).
All versions of Ford’s electric crossover
get standard Level 2 semi-autonomous driving function, over-the-air upgrade
functionality, and the SYNC+ 2.0 Smart Connected system that works together
with the Baidu ecosystem to integrate voice interaction, maps, cloud and data.
The Co-Pilot360 driver assistance bundle is optional.
