BMW is working on an all-new M2, but that hasn’t stopped G-Power from creating the GM2 Limited Edition. Based on the current M2 Competition, the model features a twin-turbo 3.0-liter six-cylinder engine that has been equipped with a high-flow air filter, new boost pipes and performance-focused software. Rounding out the highlights are a crankshaft central screw lock and a DeepTone sports exhaust system that features four 3.5 inch (90 mm) matte carbon tailpipes.
Thanks to these modifications, the engine
develops an impressive 543 hp and 700 Nm of
torque. That’s an increase of 138 hp and 150 Nm,
and this enables the coupe to rocket from 0-100 km/h in just 3.7
seconds. Furthermore, since the speed limiter has been removed, the GM2 can top
out at 300 km/h.
Besides the performance upgrades, the
model has been outfitted with “GM2 Limited Edition” lettering on the hood,
doors and trunk. While that’s something we could live without, customers can
order optional Hurricane RS or Hurricane RR forged alloy wheels to give the car
a more distinctive appearance.
Interior changes are minor, but include an
LED-infused carbon fiber steering wheel, a serial numbered badge on the center
console and GM2 Limited Edition floor mats with orange lettering. Production
will be limited to 25 units and the package costs € 11,900 (US$ 14,424 / £ 10,342)
including a 19% VAT. If you want G-Power to install it, that’s an extra € 952
(US$ 1,153 / £ 827).
