Ford Europe has previewed a new special edition of the Ranger Raptor in a new video created by the company’s sim-racing department, Team Fordzilla. The new Ranger Raptor Special Edition, which will be officially revealed on May 25, is expected to feature a unique spec inside and out but the oily bits will remain unchanged.

This means that the Ranger Raptor’s 2.0-liter twin-turbo diesel EcoBlue engine will continue producing 210 HP and 500 Nm of torque. Judging by the provided teaser image, the new special edition appears similar to the Ranger Raptor X that was recently revealed for the Australian market, featuring black stripes with orange detailing on the bodywork.

Team Fordzilla has a close relationship with the Ranger Raptor ever since the model’s launch back in 2018, which took place at a computer game show, and now they released a new video called ‘The Good, The Bad and the Bad-RSE’. The film was shot on a Spaghetti Western set, showing the new Ranger Raptor evading hostile bandits.
