TechArt has established itself as one of the industry’s premier Porsche tuners and is currently working on its latest-generation GTstreetR. The new car is based on the 992-gen 911 Turbo S and will act as the successor to the 991-based GTstreetR that was unveiled back in 2016. As we’ve come to expect from TechArt, it will benefit from a plethora of styling, aerodynamic, and mechanical modifications.
These spy shots of a GTstreetR prototype
show it has been equipped with a unique front bumper with redesigned air
intakes and some new aerodynamic trimmings. Black and white camouflage adorns
the hood but we can see that the car also benefits from carbon fiber air
louvers on the front wheel arches. Look at the GTstreetR from the side and it
is impossible not to notice the unique wheels with aero discs, the flared fenders
and the new side skirts.
A multitude of changes have been made to
the rear of the 911 Turbo S,the most notable of which is the fitment of a
unique wing. This includes bespoke uprights and a hydraulically-operated center
section that can pop up to increase downforce. TechArt has also equipped the
car with a unique rear diffuser and new tailpipes.
TechArt will also upgrade the 911 Turbo S’
3.8-liter twin-turbocharged flat-six and our sources indicate it will probably
have around 800 hp. This mean it will be more powerful than the 711 hp
GTstreetR from 2016 and result in blistering straight-line performance.
