Nissan Motor Company has submitted the photos and specifications of the Venucia V-Online crossover to the China Patent Office, so let’s have a closer look at it.
Nissan co-founded the Venucia brand with
Dongfeng eleven years ago. A number of Nissan-engined cars are sold in China
under this badge, including the compact-sized D60 sedan based on the Nissan
Sentra, the SUVs T60, T70 (Qashqai) and T90, the M50V van, and a
few electric cars.
While the marque primarily specializes in
affordable cars, the V-Online seems a fair bit more premium than the rest. Note
the sporty trim all around, sophisticated lines, a huge radiator grille, a
spoiler, and LED taillights spanning the entire rear. The roof can be either
black or color-matched to the rest of the body.
The car is 4,562 mm long with 2.7 meters
between the axles, which prompts an assumption that it might be using the
CMF-C/D platform of the Nissan X-Trail. Powering it is a 1.5-liter turbo rated
at 190 PS. Fuel consumption is specified at 6.6 liters per
100 kilometers, which is pretty low.
