Hyundai has released the first two teaser images of the long-awaited Elantra N. The South Korean car manufacturer has been previewing the Elantra N since September last year and released a handful of images of camouflaged prototypes. A handful of YouTubers have even had the opportunity to test out the sedan in prototype guise. Now we can get a glimpse of the Elantra N without any camouflage.
Unsurprisingly, these two teasers depict the Elantra N in the N division’s customary shade of Performance Blue complete with red accents across the side skirts and rear diffuser. In addition, we can see that the Elantra N features large circular tailpipes like other Hyundai N models while also rocking a unique rear spoiler painted black.
Hyundai has also teased the wheels of the Elantra N which are quite different to those of the i20 N and i30 N and feature sharp spokes finished with silver and black. It is understood that the Hyundai Elantra N will be powered by a 2.0-liter turbocharged four-cylinder with 275 hp. Customers will be able to choose between a six-speed manual or an eight-speed dual-clutch.
Hyundai hasn’t announced a date for the car’s unveiling but is promising to release more details “in the coming weeks.”
