The Dallara Stradale is one of the most impressive road-legal track cars currently on sale and as it turns out, the race car manufacturer is working on an even more extreme version. Dubbed the Stradale EXP, a camouflaged prototype was recently spied testing at the Monza circuit in Italy. It can be seen with camouflage across parts of the front fascia as well as over a new rear wing that towers above the rest of the car.

Other modifications made to the car include the fitment of a new front air intake and a more pronounced rear diffuser to increase downforce. Dallara has also fitted a pair of canards to the front bumper.

As standard, the Dallara Stradale is powered by the same 2.3-liter EcoBoost four-cylinder engine as the Ford Focus RS but has been modified to deliver 395 hp and 500 Nm of torque. It is reasonable to assume that the Stradale EXP will benefit from an increases in both horsepower and torque, although figures are yet to be confirmed.

Dallara put the camouflaged Stradale EXP prototype on display at the Milano Monza Motor Show over the weekend and revealed that it tips the scales at just 890 kg and can generate up to 1,250 kg of downforce. It will apparently be able to sustain lateral acceleration forces of more than 2.7 g, a figure unheard of in a street-legal car.
