GTO Engineering has released a handful of new sketches previewing the interior of its new Squalo sports car that’s inspired by the iconic Ferrari 250 GTO. The British company first previewed the Squalo back in April through a series of detailed renderings but this is our first time seeing the fittingly retro interior.

GTO Engineering is keen to point out that it has developed buttons and switches for the cabin rather than using touchscreens like so many modern cars. Nevertheless, the car will also support smartphone integration and features an infotainment screen, even though it isn’t visible in these sketches. It is all part of the ‘hidden’ technology package that GTO Engineering has designed into the interior which also includes an audio system.

Powering the Squalo will be a quad-cam naturally aspirated V12 coupled to a manual transmission. Final specs, such as the engine’s size and output figures, have yet to be released, but GTO Engineering has said that it has already received customer orders and the first examples will be delivered to their owners in 2023.
