VW has revealed the new Arteon Big Sur concept as the latest addition to the company’s 2021 Enthusiast Fleet. Named after the scenic Californian coastal area, the new VW Arteon Big Sur is basically a stock Arteon SEL Premium R-Line that was subjected to a very detailed forest-green wrap, featuring a set of gloss-black 20-inch Rotiform TUF-R monoblock wheels.
VW’s goal was to attract attention to its flagship sedan, and what better way of wrapping something in the same colors as Hulk. Volkswagen Enthusiast and Motorsport Marketing Specialist Sean Maynard, Rory Stramer and Gil Plasencia of FMS Automotive, and Jason Whipple at Rotiform designed this one-off car. According to VW, the wrap was installed throughout the car, including its interior door jambs and side body pieces. In addition, the Arteon Big Sur features a custom-made front splitter, side pieces, and a spoiler, as well as a coil-over suspension for a lower stance.
The striking one-off green VW Arteon Big Sur will be displayed alongside the rest of the 2021 VW Enthusiast Fleet at events across the country.
