Gazoo Racing’s parts division hasn’t wasted any time in working its magic on the new Toyota GR 86 and has officially unveiled a series of parts available for the compact sports car. Many of these parts were showcased on the GR Parts Concept that was first unveiled in mid-June but has only now been fully detailed. Gazoo Racing has gone to town with this concept, taking a regular GR 86 and modifying it extensively both from a visual as well as a performance standpoint.

Found at the front is a unique fascia with an extended splitter and various carbon fiber accents, a configuration that, according to Gazoo, increases front-end downforce, while an inlet duct above the grille acts as a ram intake for the engine. Air outlets can also be seen on the front wheel arches and help to remove turbulent air. Speaking of the wheel arches, they have been widened by 43 mm and drastically alter the car’s stance on the road.

Alterations continue down the sides and include unique skirts that are said to reduce drag. The concept is also sitting on a set of 19-inch forged aluminum wheels while rounding out the modifications are a carbon fiber rear diffuser, a carbon fiber rear wing, and a unique exhaust system designed to improve efficiency.

As for the second GR 86 concept unveiled by Gazoo Racing, it has a slightly more restrained design but still features a number of new parts such as a new front bumper, bespoke side skirts, a new rear bumper, and a GR sports exhaust system. The car also features front fender ducts, side window cowlings to improve air flow, a pronounced trunklid lip spoiler, and forged 19-inch wheels. A unique garnish has also been designed for the fuel lid.

The modifications continue under the skin and include a unique suspension kit with different shocks and springs. Gazoo Racing has also given the show car a set of enlarged brakes. Finally, a handful of changes can be found in the interior too. These include various pieces of trim with a forged carbon fiber effect, a plush knee pad, and a carbon fiber key cover.
