If you’ve ever dreamed of living in a Pottery Barn, you’re in luck as Airstream has introduced the new Pottery Barn Special Edition. Essentially a 28-foot travel trailer designed for glamping, the model promises to provide the “perfect blend” of style and comfort. On the outside, the trailer is classic Airstream as it features a glistening aluminum body. However, there are a handful of telltale clues this isn’t your standard travel trailer as the special edition features Pottery Barn badging, a unique awning, and an outdoor hanging table which is a first for the company. The amenities don’t end there as each trailer comes with an accessory kit that includes an Indio outdoor table and armchair set. Buyers will also find a doormat and a 16-piece Mason dinnerware set for dining al fresco.

While the exterior is nice, the interior is the real star of the show as the companies worked hand-in-hand to “create something fresh and innovative.” As part of the process, the model has been equipped with hardware, fixtures and goods inspired by Pottery Barn’s best-selling collections. In particular, there are custom-made seats and a sofa inspired by Pottery Barn’s Big Sur Collection. The latter even features a hidden airline-style table that is stored in the armrest when not in use.

Elsewhere, there’s an “heirloom-quality” solid oak dinette table inspired by Pottery Barn’s Benchwright Collection. It’s joined by oatmeal linen Emery curtains, which can be lowered to give diners a little bit of privacy. Staying in the kitchen, there’s a stainless steel sink with a matte black pull-down faucet. Buyers will also find stylish countertops, a solid walnut cutting board sink cover, and overhead storage with beadboard paneling.

Moving into the bedroom, the special edition can be equipped with a twin or queen size bed featuring Pottery Barn Belgian Flax Linen bedding. Elsewhere, there are small wooden cabinets and custom storage compartments under the bed. Even the bathroom gets the Pottery Barn treatment as it features a round vessel sink with a matte black faucet. It’s joined by wall sconces and accents that echo the rest of the trailer.

The Airstream Pottery Barn Special Edition is currently available and pricing starts at US$ 145,500. That’s not cheap, but Airstream CEO Bob Wheeler noted “Pottery Barn has this kind of magical ability to shape a space” and “we love how they applied that to the Airstream lifestyle.”
