Audi announced today that the sporty e-tron GT is available for sale in the U.S. and that customers can go online and configure their own version of the car. Prices for the e-tron GT start at US$ 99,900 plus a US$ 1,045 destination charge that brings the total up to US$ 100,945. The sportier RS e-tron GT, meanwhile, starts at US$ 139,900 plus a US$ 1,045 destination charge, which brings the price up to US$ 140,945. Both are eligible for potential federal tax credits of US$ 7,500, which would bring the effective prices down to US$ 93,447 and US$ 133,445.

The e-tron GT comes with 469 hp and 629 Nm of torque, but a Boost Mode temporarily ups those figures to 522 hp and 639 Nm of torque. In Boost Mode, the car will get up to 97 km/h in just 3.9 seconds and on to a top speed of 152 mph. The RS e-tron GT, meanwhile, gets 590 hp and 829 Nm of torque. Its Boost Mode function, meanwhile, gets the power up to 637 horses, though the torque figure stays the same. All of that extra power cuts the car’s 0-60 time by nearly a second and it completes the sprint in 3.1 seconds.

Both feature a 92 kWh battery pack and as you’d expect the RS e-tron GT’s range suffers a little as a result of its extra power. Losing just 6 miles, according to the EPA, though, its 232-mile range doesn’t look too bad when compared to the standard e-tron GT‘s 238 miles of range. Audi says that the battery can be charged from 5-80% in 22 minutes thanks to its 270 kW maximum charging speed when using DC fast charging. Owners can expect to recoup about 120 miles of charge in just 10 minutes, though, if they aren’t too worried about filling out the battery display on their instrument screen.

The U.S. model of the e-tron GT will come with 20-inch 5-double-spoke alloy wheels with grey accents as standard or 20-inch 5-double-spoke alloy wheels with black accents with the optional performance package. The RS e-tron GT also comes standard with 20-inch wheels, though its wheels are sustainably manufactured AERO wheels. The car can also be optioned with 21-inch wheels. The RS e-tron GT also comes with a standard carbon roof panel. The vehicle also comes with a leather-free interior that incorporates recycled materials, though, for those who don’t care about cows or their impact on the environment, a leather interior can be selected. A 12.3-inch instrument display screen and a 10.1-inch infotainment screen are standard.
