The vehicle you’re looking at is dubbed the E-Legend EL1 and it has been conceived as an all-electric hommage to the iconic Audi Sport Quattro S1. The EL1 is powered by three electric motors, one at the front axle and two at the rear, that combine to produce 804 hp. Providing these motors with their juice is a 90 kWh battery pack that uses the same 800-volt technology as the Porsche Taycan.

E-Legend is promising some serious figures with the EL1, claiming that it will hit 100 km/h in 2.8 seconds and 200 km/h in less than 10 seconds. What’s more, the battery is said to power the EL1 for up to 400 km and should be enough to complete two laps of the Nurburgring when driven hard in the SportPlus driving mode. The EV also features torque vectoring to aid in its handling.

 

Auto Motor Und Sport suggests that the E-Legend EL1 likely features the same battery modules as the Porsche Taycan, which also means it will be capable of quick-charging. The company behind the electric sports car added that the battery features a sophisticated liquid cooling system. The design of the EL1 is clearly reminiscent of the Audi Sport Quattro S1. The front end features prominent headlights and LED daytime running lights and a bulging hood almost identical in shape to the Audi, including the three small air vents. In addition, the EL1 has a boxy and aggressive shape with pronounced wheel arches and white rally-inspired five-spoke wheels. Found at the rear is a spoiler and eye-catching LED taillights.

A grand total of 30 units are planned for production and should be ready next year with each priced at a touch over € 1 million (US$ 1.19 million). E-Legend is also planning EL2 and EL3 models, the first of which could have a design inspired by the Lancia Stratos HF Stradale.
