Skoda has shared some details regarding a new version of its most affordable model in Russia, the Rapid Sport Edition. Being an Ambition spec at heart, the car sports 16-inch wheels, a bespoke radiator grille, side mirrors, side skirts, red-stitched seats and ceiling, a three-spoke steering wheel, and special pedal pads.

Equipment highlights include anti-fog lamps, cruise control, side airbags, and heated seats, windshield washers and mirrors. The SmartLink system is also pre-installed with smartphone support and a couple of USB-C sockets for the rear seat occupants.

 

It remains unannounced what kind of engine you can specify with the Sport Edition. The Ambition trim level supports 1.6L non-turbo available in 90 and 110 horsepower forms, and a 1.4L turbo worth 125 horses.
