Pricing for the 2022 Genesis G70 sedan and GV70 SUV in the UK have been announced before the two models launch in September. Kicking off the G70 range will be the entry-level Premium Line that starts at £ 33,850 (US$ 46,459). One step up in the range takes customers to the £ 38,150 (US$ 52,361) Luxury Line while sitting above it is the flagship Sport Line, priced from £ 40,030 (US$ 54,941).

Interestingly, UK buyers will not be able to purchase the G70 with the flagship 365 hp 3.3-liter twin-turbocharged V6 that is offered in other markets. Instead, it will only be available with the entry-level 2.0-liter turbocharged four-cylinder that puts out 251 hp and a 2.2-liter turbo-diesel four-cylinder rated at 199 hp. Both engines are coupled to an eight-speed automatic transmission sending power to the rear wheels.

The Genesis GV70 has been priced at a premium over its sedan sibling and starts at £ 39,450 (US$ 54,145) for the Premium Line, rising to £ 44,370 (US$ 60,898) for the Luxury Line and £ 43,350 (US$ 59,498) for the Sport Line. It too is available with a 2.2-liter turbo-diesel but can also be optioned with Hyundai Motor Group’s new 2.5-liter turbocharged four-cylinder producing 300 hp. All models have all-wheel drive.

Sales of the Genesis G70 and GV70 will kick off in the UK on September 1. The G70 Shooting Brake will hit the market soon after.
