John Deere has just unveiled a new version of its Gator XUV835M utility vehicle that pays tribute to military veterans. Dubbed the Honor Edition, it will be available in an open-station configuration as well as in HVAC configuration that includes heating, ventilation, and air conditioning. It stands out from regular variants of the Gator SUV835M thanks to the sand-colored paint, as well as some other unique features.
The Honor Edition comes as standard with military-inspired model numbers and graphics, black alloy wheels with Maxxis Bighorn 2.0 Extreme Terrain radial tires, black vinyl 40/60 split-bench seating, a sports steering wheel, half doors, a black roof, stone headliner for HVAC cab models, brush guard, cargo box with spray-in liner, and a power lift cargo box. Customers can also order the utility vehicle with Predator Heavy Duty all-terrain tires.
Powering the Gator XUV835M is an 810 cc, three-cylinder petrol engine with 43 hp. It comes standard with four-wheel drive and a two-speed CVT. To ensure it is capable of passing across rugged terrain, it features fully independent dual A-arms with adjustable coils both front and rear.
