This is the Lynk & Co 05+, the sportier version of the SUV that was first unveiled for the Chinese market in late 2019. Immediately making the 05+ stand out from the regular model is an exclusive bright green paint job that looks like it has been borrowed directly from Lamborghini’s color palette. In addition, the SUV is offered with unique sporty wheels available in a variety of finishes, including black, that really add to its aggression. The brake calipers have also been painted bright green.
Elsewhere, Lynk & Co has equipped the 05+ with a unique front splitter, distinctive side skirts, rear bumper flics, a new rear diffuser and a fixed rear wing. According to Car News China, all of these parts have been made from genuine carbon fiber. The 05+ also includes unique badges across the exterior.
Images of the SUV’s interior have yet to hit the web but it’s reasonable to assume that it has also been updated with some unique parts.
Powering the 05+ is a 2.0-liter turbocharged four-cylinder, as with other 05 models. However, Lynk & Co has tweaked this engine so it now pumps out 265 hp and 380 Nm of torque, as opposed to the 251 hp and 349 Nm of standard models. Coupled to the engine is an Aisin eight-speed automated manual transmission sending power through all four wheels. No acceleration figures have been released but it can apparently hit a top speed of 230 km/h.
