Genesis has released new photos of the all-electric GV60 but rather than showcasing the SUV in a controversial shade of yellow, it has instead opted for a more traditional shade of white, which we find pretty cool. In designing the GV60, Genesis took inspiration from its other models to make the GV60 easily identifiable. This is particularly apparent at the front end where there are Quad Lamps and a unique grille. Meanwhile, a look at the side profile of the GV60 reveals very few character lines and instead a unique set of wheels and door handles that sit flush with the bodywork.

The GV60 also has some that Genesis refers to as the ‘Volt DLO.’ This piece of trim is finished in chrome and gives the C-pillar an aggressive shape. According to Genesis, “this characterful and unique DLO chrome trim emphasizes the GV60 as the most athletic, youthful character in the range, and is another gesture signaling that theere are no rules or boundaries written in the EV era.”

Underpinning the GV60 is the same Electric-Global Modular Platform (E-GMP) as the Hyundai Ioniq 5 and Kia EV6. With that in mind, the first all-electric Genesis is expected to be offered with a similar selection of powertrains that provide a nice mix between performance, efficiency, and range.

The South Korean car manufacturer has yet to confirm when full details regarding the GV60 will be released, nor has it said when sales will begin, but we expect it to arrive in global markets next year.
