Infiniti has made a series of upgrades to the 2022 Q50 before it starts to reach showrooms floors later this month. The 2022 Infiniti Q50 is available in three distinct grades, the Luxe, Sensory, and Red Sport 400. Key features across all models are leather-appointed seats, power tilt and telescoping steering wheel, power-folding wing mirrors, a dual-occupant driver’s seat memory system, individual Intelligent Keys, driver’s seat power lumbar adjustment and Bose Performance Series audio.
Key updates made to the Q50 can be found in the cabin and include wireless Apple CarPlay compatibility. The Luxe variant’s leather interior is also now available in Graphite and Stone color treatments while the Q50 Sensory is also offered with Saddle Brown leather, in addition to the Graphite and Stone leather-appointed seats. Meanwhile, the flagship Q50 Red Sport 400 comes standard with semi-aniline leather-appointed seats finished in Gallery White with red stitching or Graphite with red stitching.
In terms of power, both the Q50 Luxe and Sensory have a 3.0-liter twin-turbocharged V6 pumping out 300 hp at 6,400 rpm and 400 Nm between 1,600 and 5,200 rpm. Meanwhile, the Q50 Red Sport 400 continues to use a version of this engine with 400 hp at 6,400 rpm and 474 Nm between 1,600 and 5,200 rpm. All models use a 7-speed automatic transmission that sends power to the rear wheels as standard or, optionally, all four.
Pricing for the 2022 Infiniti Q50 Luxe starts at US$ 42,100 while the Q50 Sensory is available from US$ 47,800. Meanwhile, the potent Q50 Red Sport 400 can be purchased from US$ 55,950.
