Infiniti today announced the pricing for its updated QX80 body-on-frame SUV. Thanks to new tech and an updated interior, the 2022 SUV’s starting price gets a US$ 1,450 increase over the 2021 model. Pricing ranges from US$ 71,995 all the way up to US$ 83,630 (including a US$ 1,395 destination fee) for the three available trims. Infiniti‘s All-Mode four-wheel-drive is offered on all models for an extra US$ 3,100.
The 2022 Infiniti QX80 Luxe is the entry model and starts from US$ 71,995. It includes Nappa leather seats in all three rows, 20-inch alloy wheels, heated front seats, second-row captain’s chairs, a power liftgate, a Bose 13-speakers premium audio system, and Infiniti’s new 12.3-inch infotainment system. The single-screen setup aligns it more with the rest of the industry and rids the QX80 of Infiniti’s two-screen setup. The QX80 Premium Select, priced from US$ 76,780, adds 22-inch dark chrome alloy wheels, unique Matte Mocha Burl interior trim, and more.
The range-topping 2022 QX80 Sensory also gets 22-inch chrome wheels, chrome exterior accents, semi-aniline leather seats, a Bose Performance Audio 17-speaker sound system, Hydraulic Body Motion Control, climate-controlled front seats, and more. Prices for the QX80 Sensory start from US$ 83,630. Power for the 2022 model is provided by a familiar 5.6-liter V8 engine, rated at 400 hp and 560 Nm of torque. That power is routed through a seven-speed automatic transmission.
Assembled in Kyushu, Japan, the 2022 Infiniti QX80 is set to hit dealer showrooms later this summer in the U.S. and Canada, with other markets set to follow.
