Isuzu and Arctic Trucks, the company perhaps most famous for taking Top Gear to the North Pole, have taken the wraps off a new upcoming off-road truck, the all-new D-Max Arctic Trucks AT35 that has broken cover at the 2021 Commercial Vehicle Show in Birmingham, U.K. Starting at the very foundation of the truck, Arctic Trucks has strengthened the Isuzu D-Max‘s chassis, added Bilstein Performance Suspension, and fitted 35-inch All-Terrain tires for confidence off-road.
The company has also given the truck’s interior the once-over, adding Arctic Trucks branded headrests, floormats, and sill covers, while the leather interior provides comfort and durability. From the Isuzu factory, the truck gets traffic sign recognition, automatic windshield wipers, and emergency lane keeping. It also gets a 9-inch infotainment touchscreen and dual-zone climate control to keep you comfortable whether you’re wearing a parka or a T-shirt.
The Isuzu D-Max comes with just one engine option in the U.K., a turbodiesel with 162 hp and 360 Nm of torque. It’s coupled to a standard six-speed manual transmission or an optional six-speed automatic.
All elements of the truck will be built by Isuzu and Arctic Trucks technicians to ensure the best possible quality. Sales are expected to begin in February 2022. Pricing has not yet been revealed.
