SUPER73, a maker of e-bikes, has announced that it has created a new, highly limited e-bike with the help of California-based fashion brand Period Correct. Limited to just 15 examples, the Period Correct x SUPER73-S1 features a custom-painted deep blue frame, fenders, and battery. To that, a silver Period Correct logo has been added and the seat is finished in contrasting blue and green graphics. The bike also sports lock-on grips from Lizard Skins and Rascal pedals from Origin8.

The bike came together thanks to a collaboration between the two southern California design teams. Specifically, Period Correct founder Bryan Calvero worked to ensure that the design was just right. Indeed, Calvero said he uses the electric bikes at racetracks to get around the paddock area. His brand, meanwhile, has worked with several automakers in the past, like McLaren and Audi, and has created capsule clothing collections inspired by motorsports and automotive design.

The bike is based on the SUPER73-S1, which features a 768 watt-hour battery. That’s enough to get an estimated range of 40 km at 32 km/h under throttle-only operation. If you help pedal, it can get as many as 56 km of range depending on a number of factors like rider weight. The bike will be exclusively available through Period Correct’s website and it rings in at US$ 3,000.
