Volkswagen UK has just unveiled an ID.3 with a special livery that it dubs the PRID.3. The electric vehicle has been created for the Milton Keynes Pride Festival running on September 11 and has a unique, multi-colored design inspired by the camouflage pattern used by ID.3 prototypes when the hatchback was still in development.
The PRID.3’s exterior finish features all 11 colors of the Progress Pride flag, consisting of red, orange, yellow, green, blue, purple, black, brown, pink, light blue, and white. VW UK says these colors “merge into one another in an ombré effect, to reflect the community and togetherness of all communities and identities, as well as celebrating their differences.” The PRID.3 will be displayed at the Volkswagen Group UK atrium for the entire week of September 6 before being moved to the Milton Keynes Pride Festival on September 11.
The ID.3 used is the Life Pro Performance variant, meaning it pumps out 201 hp and 310 Nm of torque while offering a range of 264 miles on the WLTP cycle.
