Volkswagen has already decided that the next-gen T-Roc SUV will not be coming to the market until at least 2024, so the current generation is now undergoing a facelift. Here’s what it looks like.
We have already seen the T-Roc Cabriolet and the T-Roc R on their pre-production tests, and now, car spotters have tracked down an R-Line spec. Note the ‘Brake Test’ decal at the rear and the extra equipment installed on every wheel: apparently, the company was testing the braking system this time around.
Compared to the current T-Roc, the refreshed one will probably keep the exterior and cabin largely unchanged. The headlights, the bumpers and the rear diffuser appear only slightly redesigned here. The engine palette should also stay stock, offering a choice between turbocharged petrol and diesel options, as well as manual and automatic transmissions.
The launch could take place in 2022, in spring if we had to make a guess.
