In December last year, PaxPower announced the coming of an extreme Alpha tuning kit for the F-150, but the first modded example only rolled off the tuning company’s garage this week. Thanks to a three-liter Whipple supercharger, the truck now makes 770 PS. How easily it goes 0-97 km/h in 5.16 seconds.
Aside from being more powerful than its
stock cousin, the PaxPower Alpha boasts a body widened by 102 mm, as
well as upgraded leaf springs, wishbones, roll stabilizers and buffers. The
front axle is longer than stock, the steering has been modified, and there are
of-road rims shod in all-terrain tires.
Prices for the supercharger upgrade alone
start from US$ 12,500, and you can expect to pay at least US$ 17,000 more for the
suspension, body kit and graphics. All performance numbers are valid for the
Platinum AWD spec of the truck.
