Ineos Automotive has released details about the introduction of the Grenadier, confirming that deliveries of the Land Rover Defender-inspired off-roader will commence in July 2022 in the UK. Ineos is working with Robert Bosch GmbH to help introduce the Grenadier and owners will have access to over 10,000 Bosch Car Service outlets across 150 countries to have their vehicles serviced and repaired.
In the UK, the Grenadier will start at approximately £ 48,000 (US$ 65,000). The UK will be the first market where it launches and the company plans to establish 23 retail sites ahead of the launch. Ineos has also announced plans to introduce the Grenadier in other markets, including Europe, Africa, Asia Pacific, the Middle East, and North America.
Pricing details for markets outside the UK haven’t been announced. Ineos says the Grenadier will touch down in the summer of 2023 in North America. Ineos says 75,000 people have “raised their hands” as prospective buyers. These individuals will be able to place a build reservation from September 30 for an exclusive two-week period while from October 14, reservations will open to everyone.
