Pricing details for the 2022 Nissan Maxima have just been announced for the U.S. market alongside the car’s launch. Kicking off the 2022 Maxima range is the entry-level SV, priced from US$ 37,240. Among the key standard features of the 2022 Maxima SV are 18-inch aluminum-alloy wheels with painted inserts, a manual tilt and telescoping steering column, leather-wrapped steering wheel, 245/45 all-season tires, LED projector headlights and daytime running lights, an 8-speaker audio system, satin chrome faceted finishers in the cabin, and a Rear View Monitor.

One step up in the range brings consumers to the 2022 Maxima SR that starts at US$ 42,400. It brings with it many upgrades, include a leather-wrapped and Alcantara steering wheel, heated steering wheel, paddle shifters, sport-tuned suspension, 19-inch gloss black wheels, LED fog lights, dual-panel panoramic moonroof, 11-speaker Bose audio system, heated and cooled front seats, and an Intelligent Around View Monitor.

 

Topping out the range is the Maxima Platform. It starts at US$ 42,550 and isn’t as sporty as the SR. It shares most of its features with the latter, but does include premium leather-appointed seats with quilted leather inserts, auto entry/exit, heated armrest, rain-sensing front wipers, and a premium leather-wrapped steering wheel that is power-adjustable.

Powering all 2022 Nissan Maxima models is a 3.5-liter V6 that churns out 300 hp and354 Nm of torque. This engine is couple to a performance-oriented Xtronic transmission driving the front wheels. All Maxima models also feature ZF Sachs dampers and Nissan’s Integrated Dynamic-Control Module system.
