Pricing details have been announced for the 2022 Nissan Versa subcompact sedan in the U.S. market. Found at the base of the 2022 Versa range is the S grade with a five-speed manual transmission. It is available from US$ 15,080 (US$ 150 more than the 2021MY) and is the only model offered with a stick shift. Sitting above it in the range is the Versa S with Nissan’s Xtronic continuously variable transmission and starting at US$ 16,750. Found at the top of the range are the Versa SV and Versa SR, priced at US$ 17,890 and US$ 18,490 respectively.
All variants of the 2022 Versa are powered
by a 1.6-liter four-cylinder engine with 122 hp and 155 Nm of
torque while power is sent exclusively through the front wheels. Standard Versa
S models come equipped with 15-inch steel wheels wrapped in 195/65 all-season
tires while the Versa SV has 16-inch aluminum-alloy wheels with 205/55
all-season tires. The flagship Versa SV has 17-inch aluminum-alloy wheels and
205/50 all-season tires.
Found in the interior of the 2022 Versa
are six-way adjustable front seats as standard, as is a 7.0-inch infotainment
display with Bluetooth and four speakers. SR and SV models add a six-speaker
audio system, a more responsive touchscreen, and a leather-wrapped steering wheel.
SR and SV models also include NissanConnect that offers Apple CarPlay, Android
Auto, and SiriusXM support.
Other features added by the SR and SV
include steering wheel controls with voice recognition, Intelligent Driver
Alertness and Rear Door Alert system, remote engine start, and a Nissan
Intelligent Key. All variants include 10 airbags, Automatic Emergency Braking
with Pedestrian Detection, High Beam Assist, Lane Departure Warning, and Rear
Automatic Braking.
