Yamaha has introduced a small adventure bike in Brazil called the 2022 Crosser 150. Available in 2 variants – S and Z – the small-capacity adventure motorcycle is offered in 4 colour options, 2 each for both variants. The Black Eclipse and Sports White colours are for the 150 S variant and; Competition Blue and Dakar Sand colourways are for the 150 Z model.
Design-wise, the 2022 Yamaha Crosser 150
is rather simple. The S model features a small beak, tiny flyscreen, fuel tank
with scoops, a single-piece seat, high mount exhaust and simple body panels. The
Crosser 150 Z does away with the low-set front mudguard and features a high
fender. It also comes with fork gaiters and different graphics, but is
identical to the S variant otherwise.
Featuring wire-spoked wheels (19-inch rim
up front and a 17-inch one at the back), the entry-level adventure bike has
long-travel suspension, a disc brake attached to each wheel with single-channel
ABS assist and a semi-digital instrument cluster. Power comes from a 149cc,
single-cylinder, air-cooled motor that is tuned to produce a maximum of 12.2
BHP and 12.74 Nm of peak torque. The motor is teamed to a 5-speed gearbox.
At present, Yamaha sells the 2022 Crosser
150 only in Brazil. The bike is priced at R$ 15,590 (Rs. 2.05 lakhs) for the
Crosser 150 S ABS and R$ 15,790 (Rs. 2.08 lakhs) for the 150 Z ABS.
