According to Geely, the part-electric version of its Xingyue L SUV – also known as the KX11 in other countries – will start from 173,700 Yuan (US$ 27,260) on the domestic market.
The new version combines a 1.5-liter turbo
engine with a DHT Pro hybrid drivetrain capable of multiple drive modes
including all-electric. The output maxes out at 244 PS and
540 Nm of torque, enabling a sprint from zero to 100 km/h in 7.9 seconds.
The manufacturer claims that the stated
average petrol consumption of 4.3 liters per 100 km (54.7 MPG) has been
confirmed in real-world conditions with certain test examples showing even
superior economy. When full, the car offers around 1,300 km of
driving range.
The standard Geely Xingyue L/KX11, like
the one shown in the video here, use a 2.0-liter turbocharged four-cylinder
engine available in two versions. One produces 218 PS and 325
Nm of torque and needs 7.9 seconds for the standard sprint. The
other one makes 238 PS and 380 Nm and needs 0.2
seconds less than that. Depending on your chosen trim level, prices lie in the
137,200 – 185,200 Yuan range.
