The Komaki Ranger, touted as India’s first electric cruiser motorbike has been launched in India and it will be available at Komaki dealerships across the country from January 26. The Komaki Ranger is priced at Rs. 168000 (US$ 2,250) and comes with some impressive and rugged features to boot. The new e-bike was announced alongside the retro-looking, Vespa-styled Komaki Venice electric bike.
The Komaki Ranger is a beautiful bride of Komaki
Electric Vehicles and it will be offered in three color variants – Deep Blue,
Jet Black, and Garnet Red. The Komaki Ranger has big and sturdy wheels, shiny
chrome-garnished LED headlamps with dual auxiliary headlamps, all reflecting a
shiny chrome design. The headlamp is flanked by side indicators which are both
retro-themed.
The Komaki Ranger highlights a decent cruiser
design, wide handlebars, a single-pod instrument cluster, and several other
features that impose a distinctive look to the motorbike. The pillion of the
Komaki Ranger has a backrest while the rider’s seat is positioned slightly
lower. Other features around the bike indicate its long-haul capabilities. The
bike has a 4kW motor as well as a 4kW battery that offers a range of up to
220km. Entertainment is also possible with the Komaki Ranger with its built-in
Bluetooth sound system. Cruise control is also possible with the bike which has
a dual-storage box and anti-theft lock system.
