Indian electric scooter manufacturer Komaki has unveiled a new electric scooter for the local market. The scooter dubbed Komani Venice electric scooter adopts a Vespa-styled design. The Komani Venice electric scooter retains a couple of retro-styled features apparently imported from the Vespa, including a circular headlamp but this time around, it is fitted with LED bulbs. The headlamp also has daytime running light.
The e-scooter comes equipped with several modern features
like a comfy seat, a large windshield, full digital display that shows several
parameters such as speed, battery power and more. The scooter also features a
storage compartment at the front where stuff like phones, chargers, documents
and others can be stored safely. There is also a cargo box at the back that has
a sizeable room.
While the range and topsepeed of the Venice e-scooter are
not known, the scooter is said to pack a 3 kWh electric motor paired with a 2.9
kWh battery pack. The scooter also comes with a self-diagnosis system, reverse
assist, anti-theft lock system, regenerative braking system, and a point for
charging your mobile gadgets.
The Komaki Venice Electric two-wheeler carries a retail
price of Rs. 115,000 (US$ 1,540). The scooter will go on sale starting from
January 26 across its dealerships. It will be available in nine different color
options.
