The Rolls-Royce Cullinan is already one of the world’s most expensive SUVs, offering plenty of personalization options but tuners are here to make it even more special. The latest proposal comes from the US-based 1016 Industries, which announced a 3D-printed carbon bodykit for the Cullinan, with prices for a complete vehicle starting from US$ 500,000.
The “Limited Edition Custom Cullinan” is visually
distinguished by the forged carbon-fiber panels that were designed to
“seamlessly integrate into the existing bodywork”. These include a new front
bumper with larger intakes and extra LEDs, wide front and rear fenders, sporty
side sill extensions, a double rear spoiler, and a new rear bumper with a
diffuser and add-ons around the dual exhaust pipes.
The bodykit is available in different finishes, including
non-exposed carbon, partially exposed carbon fiber, or partially forged carbon
fiber. The look is enhanced by a set of aftermarket wheels, finished in black
of course. 1016 Industries also adds that the new parts help reduce weight but
didn’t specify to what extent. There are no changes under the bonnet which
means that the stock 6.75-liter twin-turbo V12 produces either 563 hp of the regular Cullinan, or up to 592 hp in the Black
Badge specification right from the factory.
So far, the modified Cullinan only appears in a set of
renderings but 1016 Industries says they are ready to deliver the first
vehicles in a matter of weeks. The half-a-million starting price could be
further increased according to the owner’s taste. The tuner describes it as a
“limited-edition series” without telling us the number of vehicles they will
produce. Besides the Cullinan, 1016 Industries is offering custom bodykits for
many supercars including the Ferrari F8 Tributo, the McLaren 720S, and the
Lamborghini Huracan.
