Ferrari continues to celebrate the 10th anniversary of its Cavalcade roadtrip and has just unveiled the latest color that will be available on the SF90 Stradale, SF90 Spider, 296 GTB, 812 Competizione, and 812 Competizione A. The Italian car manufacturer unveiled the new color of Verde Volterra with a selection of low-resolution images of an 812 Competizione A on Facebook. However, after sneaking through Ferrari’s Tailor Made website, we grabbed some images of the new shade also adorning the 812 Competizione Coupe, 296 GTB, SF90 Stradale, and SF90 Spider.
As the color is only shown through
renderings, we suspect that it might look a tad different in the flesh.
Nevertheless, we can see that Verde Volterra combines elements of orange and
green in an iridescent shade that Ferrari says draws its inspiration from
Tuscany, recalling the region’s “deep greens and earthy tones.”
All five Ferrari models have also been
depicted with large white stickers on the doors reading ‘39’ while also
sporting a small American flag decal on the driver’s door and an Italian flag
on the passenger door. You will also notice that the color has been contrasted
by orange accents across the hood, door frames, and tailgates of all models.
A number of other colors have already been
announced by Ferrari that take inspiration from the Cavalcade roadtrip. These
include Rosso Taormina that was presented on an SF90 Stradale a couple of weeks
ago, as well as Blu Capri that was showcased on an 812 Competizione A in late
January. Ferrari has not yet revealed how much its customers will have to cough
up for one of these rare colors but we don’t think they’ll be cheap.
