Mahindra Born Electric Vision teased as the automaker gears up for their future in green mobility. The teaser video gives us a hint of three electric vehicle concepts in different body styles. However, the design language is all-new as they carve their way out in a different direction altogether under their EV sub-brand. These vehicles have been conceptualised at the Mahindra Advanced Design Studio in the UK headed by Pratap Bose. The lineup will be revealed in its concept form in July 2022.
The new range of EVs from
Mahindra will be based on a bespoke EV platform. While the carmaker is
preparing to launch a few electric vehicles on the current ICE platform
including the XUV300 electric, the new BEVs will have a dedicated electric-only
platform and thus will take another year and a half to hit the production line.
There is a signature styling
of lights in these concepts, long squarish strip of LEDs dominating the front
profile with a muscular face. The rear profile too gets wraparound LEDs. From
the silhouettes of these cars we can make out that there’s a big SUV coupe, a
crossover and a regular shaped SUV concept.
