Budding Chinese automaker Feifan had only produced electric conversions of Roewe cars until now, selling them under the names Feifan ER6 and Feifan Marvel R. The new Feifan R7 is its first independent car design, an all-electric flagship that is already being made. Styled as a coupe-SUV, the vehicle is comparable to the Audi e-tron Sportback in terms of size. It rides on 21-inch wheels and sports frameless doors. The wind drag is rather low at just 0.238.

Inside, the front panel resembles the Mercedes Hyperscreen and combines three displays under a single pane of glass. There is a 10.25-inch digital gauge cluster, a 12.3-inch passenger’s display and a 15.05-inch infotainment system in the middle. A heads-up display is also not omitted.

The trim mainly consists of leather. Passengers get to enjoy a panoramic sunroof, ventilated and massaged seats with footrests, and a Bose audio system.

In its basic spec, the R7 has a single electric motor at the rear axle, rated at 340 PS. The dual-motor top spec makes 544 PS and has all-wheel drive. The battery range remains undisclosed, but should lie close to 600 kilometers according to the admittedly rather optimistic and outdated NEDC measurement standard.
