It is probably about time the three-year-old Mercedes CLA got its mid-life refresh, don’t you think? Well, one prototype has just been spotted and filmed on video. As you can see, the nose and the tail are the only two parts with any disguise to speak of, so major changes aren’t coming this time around. The bumpers and the lighting are likely the only updated parts. Then again, mid-generation refreshes hardly ever bring any major updates.

The interior remains hidden from view, but you can bet on the infotainment system and the dashboard to be upgraded to support the latest version of the MBUX infotainment software. This, and a light redesign of the center console seems likely.

Performance-wise, we expect the facelifted CLA to use the same turbocharged four-cylinder engine in tandem with a seven-speed A/T. A couple of high-end AMG variants will also be offered, as usual.
